Lambert Castle, Paterson, NJ Paterson II: Photographs by George Tice
The PCHS is currently hosting an exhibit of award-winning New Jersey photographer, George Tice's recent photographs titled, the “Paterson II.” The photographs will be on display at Lambert Castle Museum from July 7 through October 7, 2007. George Tice, is a 10th-generation native of New Jersey. In 1967, he began his forty-year photographic documentation of the vernacular architecture of his home state with Paterson. Five years later these photographs formed part of his acclaimed one-man show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In Paterson II, Tice revisits his source of inspiration, adding scores of new images and making an eloquent statement about time and change.
