Lambert Castle, Paterson, NJ "Adopt-A-Painting" Program
Sponsors may choose which art work or artifact they want to conserve and restore. Also, the Society staff will gladly match an item to your interests from its priority list. All conservation work is carried out by a trained and qualified conservator chosen by the Society's staff. The results of restoration in the "before" and "after" photos of Forest Scene, by Julian Rix (1850-1904) are remarkable . All restored paintings are expected to remain on constant exhibition in the Lambert Castle Museum. Adopted paintings/artifacts will carry a special plaque to acknowledge the donor(s) and other information, such as if it was in memory of an individual, group, etc. A Certificate of Appreciation will be presented to the individuals or groups contributing funds for the conservation of a specific project. If you do not wish to adopt an individual painting, any size donation made to the PCHS Conservation and acquisition Fund is gratefully accepted. These funds will be used together for multiple conservation projects. For more information about adopting a painting or artifact, please e-mail or the Curator at Lambert Castle Museum: (973) 247-0085 ext. 201.
