History Fair

| A County-wide History Fair
was held at Lambert Castle on October 10th. The initiative was begun by
Trustee Robert Hazekamp, and organized by Director Alison Faubert and Librarian
Amanda Piekart. Respresentatives from many local Historical Societies,
Libraries, and Museums participated. Ralph Golzio, son of Claire Golzio,
a 1913 Silk Strike leader and suffragette, ttended and shared his history
with the community. Also in attendance was Hazel Lambert Spiegelberger,
great great granddaughter of Catholina Lambert, the builder of the Castle
and well-known Paterson Silk manufacturer. |
