"Can the Kaiser"  Patriotism and Propaganda in American Posters From the Great War 1917-1918.
August 15 to October 4, 2015.

During the First World War, posters were an effective way for the government and other organizations to communicate with the American public.  Posters were used as a means of recruiting military personnel, justifyiing American involvement in the War, inspiring civilians to participate in the war effort, raising money for war expenses or to fund charities helping with the war effort.

Regular museum admission.

PCHS Annual Beefsteak and Tricky Tray

Join us at Brownstone, 351 West Broadway, Paterson, on October 6th at 6:30 p.m., for the Brownstone's famous beafsteak dinner and a fun-filled evening of food, good company and great prizes. Following the business portion of the PCHS Genealogy Club meeting, local actor Mark Simmons will give a moving one-man presentation and tribute to the soldiers and sailors who were witness to the terrible attack of December 7th, 1941. All are welcome to attend.  Free admission.
