Through the years some Paterson streets have been created or removed.  Some are no longer accessible.  To search for a specific street, past or present, use your brower's Edit, Find in Page feature or scroll through  the following tables:

Additions 

Christopher Columbus Drive was created along Temple Street Park

Dill Plaza was formed using a portion  of Ward Street

News Plaza is the name given to one block of 16th Avenue, the  site of the Paterson Evening News Building

Memorial Drive was created by renaming section of Paterson Street between Market Street and Broadway, then continuing past the Municipal Complex to connect with West Broadway.  A section of Bridge Street was vacated for the complex.

Riverside Terrace Development off Fifth Avenue near McLean Boulevard created:

Harris Place
Plesinger Place

Colonial Village off Chamberlain Avenue in the Totowa section created:
Alden Terrace
Alden Court
Carrelton Drive
Colonial Avenue
Colonial Court
Furry Road
Kent Road
Kent Court

Brook Sloate Housing Development off Granite Street near Colonial Village created:
Angela Place
Christina Place
Plymouth Road
Plymouth Court

Addy Street Removed during construction of apartments and Temple Street Park
Bank Street Removed during construction of Municipal complex and Memorial Drive
Bay Street Vacated for Calvary Cemetery
Benson Street Located near Temple and Matlock Streets.  Removed during construction. 
Edward Avenue Removed during construction of apartments in the area
Hamburg Avenue Was situated between Ryle Avenue and West Broadway
Lane Street Located near Temple and Matlock Streets.  Removed during construction. 
Lion Street Near Hillman Street Bridge
Lowe Street Still on current maps but is within an Industrial Park
Oregon Avenue Removal due to construction of Route 80
Rye Street Still on current maps but is within an Industrial Park
Seneca Street Vacated for Calvary Cemetery
Swan Street Vacated for Calvary Cemetery
